Space Forge lands £10m from ESA to develop reusable heat shield for return of space-manufactured materials
Space Forge develops returnable satellites that manufacture advanced semiconductor materials in microgravity, where the space environment enables properties that cannot be achieved through conventional Earth-based processes. Its ForgeStar platform is designed to grow semiconductor materials in low Earth orbit and return them to Earth for commercial use.
