Bots for That, founded in 2015 by Daniel Lawrence, develops AI-powered software bots designed to automate accounting and bookkeeping tasks such as sending emails, uploading data, and performing calculations. The company focuses on creating affordable, easy-to-use automation that can handle workloads equivalent to multiple employees, with a vision to provide a bot to support every accountant or bookkeeper.
The new £1.5m equity investment, led by Foresight through the UK government-backed Investment Fund for Wales, will enable the company to continue innovating and scaling. The funding has largely been directed into employment and product development at its base in Cardiff’s Tramshed Tech.
Management have recruited a further six employees within the last month and plans further growth over the coming years to enhance his current team of 21.
