CHAOS secures a £1m pre-seed round led by Bridford Group to build unified space for music creators to collaborate and create

CHAOS app is a unified space for music creators to collaborate, communicate and create, taking music from a first idea to a finished record. The platform brings communication, files, feedback, sharing and live writing rooms together in one place while fingerprinting contributions so creators have visibility and control over their work.

CHAOS app, a unified space for music creators to collaborate, communicate and create, has raised £1 million in a pre-seed round led by Bridford Group, with participation from Amuse and a group of investors and high profile operators across the global music industry. The funding supports plans to expand CHAOS’s offering, deepen its ecosystem infrastructure and accelerate expansion across the United Kingdom and the United States ahead of a public launch on October 29, 2026.

Built to be the home for the creative process, CHAOS brings communication, files, feedback, sharing and lossless live writing rooms together in one seamless space so creators can work together more easily. At its core sits a provenance layer that fingerprints contributions and preserves a record of the creative process, giving artists and collaborators full visibility and control over their work with every contribution recognised and attributed. The product is designed to take music from first idea to finished record in one place, rather than having work scattered across tools, chats and file versions.

The investment round enables CHAOS to focus on advanced collaboration features and on deepening the infrastructure that surrounds creators. New development is directed towards advancing intelligence into this infrastructure to help organise information, understand projects and automate repetitive work, while explicitly keeping the act of making music in human hands. Expansion plans centre on growing CHAOS’s presence across the United Kingdom and the United States in the run-up to the platform’s wider public launch.

Founder and self taught musician and producer Ruhan Verma created CHAOS to address years of frustration with creative work being fragmented across endless messaging threads, disconnected files and siloed software, which made collaboration cumbersome and attribution difficult. Since Verma founded CHAOS 18 months ago, the product has grown from a solo project into a hybrid United Kingdom and United States operation with a waitlist exceeding 15,000 creators. CHAOS has opened a new London office with an in-house recording studio for artists and producers, and a six-person team now spans London and New York, with every member a musician or producer contributing firsthand creative experience to the product.

All investors backing CHAOS have a track record in the music industry. Bridford Group invests its own capital in founder-led businesses with long term potential, including in the music, technology, life sciences and sustainability spaces, while Amuse contributes industry insights as a data driven digital distribution service for independent musicians.

I started producing music when I was 13, and over the years I’ve been lucky enough to work with some incredible artists and producers. So much effort that goes into the creative process gets lost purely because of disconnected tools and current creator tools felt outdated. This investment will support our growth and ambition to be the single source of truth in the industry, just like Notion is for businesses. There is an opportunity here to improve tools available to creators and build CHAOS, to replace music’s outdated and fragmented software. We are grateful to our investors and industry leaders backing our vision.

Ruhan Verma, Founder

Ruhan is the kind of founder we look to back at Bridford. He has lived the problem he’s solving, and in just 18 months he has taken CHAOS from a solo project to a team across London and New York with more than 15,000 creators waiting to get on the platform. He understands how artists and producers actually work, and he has a very clear vision. We are excited to be involved with CHAOS and back Ruhan as he builds the home for creative collaboration.

Amuse exists to help the next generation of artists and labels release music and build careers, effortlessly and on their own terms. CHAOS shares that belief and adds something the industry increasingly needs: provenance. A clear record of every contribution will not only facilitate releasing and managing catalogs, but play an increasingly bigger role in which music gets heard, and we’re proud to back Ruhan and the CHAOS team building it.
