DOJO AI lands a £4.4m seed round led by Armilar to unify marketing tools with its agentic platform

DOJO AI is a marketing technology platform that replaces multiple marketing tools with a single system that analyses and executes campaigns. It helps businesses reduce acquisition costs and improve performance by acting on marketing data in real time.

DOJO AI, a marketing technology startup, has raised £4.4 million in a seed round led by Armilar, with participation from Heartfelt VC. It provides a unified system that replaces fragmented marketing tools and executes campaigns using real-time data.

The platform is designed to address the problem of marketing teams relying on multiple disconnected tools that generate siloed data. DOJO AI combines these functions into one system that analyses all marketing signals in context and takes action on them. It monitors campaigns, generates content, reallocates budgets, and feeds outcomes back into its system to improve performance over time. Customers have reported reductions in acquisition costs, increases in conversion volume, and higher output from marketing teams.

DOJO AI plans to use the funding to expand into the United States and deepen its platform’s capabilities. The company aims to strengthen its presence in the U.S., where it already generates the majority of its revenue, while continuing product development in Lisbon and growing its teams in London and the United States. It also intends to expand its multi-agent system to handle more complex marketing workflows without human intervention.

Founded in August 2024, DOJO AI was built by Duarte Garrido, a former marketing leader at Coca-Cola and Sky, and António Alegria, an AI architect behind Feedzai and OutSystems. The company has grown to more than 100 brands across the United States and the United Kingdom, including Morningstar, CoinDesk, PensionBee, and Employment Hero, and reports approximately 20% month-on-month growth.

For years, marketers have suffered from having too much data but not enough insights. This has given way to bad decisions or, worse yet, indecision. DOJO AI solves that pain by analysing all marketing data with full context of what's happening in and around the brand — and then acting on it.

Duarte Garrido, Co-founder & CEO

We're building the platform that will define the next decade of the marketing industry. We built DOJO to be the system that teams have never had. One that watches every signal in real time, learns from every outcome and gets sharper with every decision. At its core is a knowledge graph that compounds intelligence with every interaction, and AI agents that don't just analyse but act. This funding drives that flywheel further, pushing new levels of autonomy, accuracy and intelligence so our customers can achieve outcomes that simply weren't possible before.

António Alegria, Co-founder

DOJO AI's approach to marketing technology is transformative. With founders that combine a deep domain knowledge and field experience in this space with some of the best talent to build the technology from first principles, we're confident in their vision and proud to partner with them as they expand a platform that is redefining how companies turn marketing data into actionable decisions.
