Get Well Soon, a West Midlands-based startup, has raised £400k in a pre-Series A round led by Midven with additional participation from the West Midlands Equity Co-Investment Fund and the Midlands Engine Investment Fund. Founded by Simon Radley, the company focuses on providing a transparent, impartial, and efficient platform that connects self-pay patients with private healthcare providers for elective procedures.
The platform addresses the challenges of long NHS waiting lists and healthcare inefficiencies by offering quick and clearly priced access to private surgeons and hospitals. With over 50 surgeons onboard and attracting 3,000 monthly visitors, Get Well Soon plans to expand its range of procedures and clinicians, aiming to enhance its innovative, patient-centric healthcare solution. The new capital will enable the company to grow its operations, helping more patients access timely and affordable private healthcare.
