Luna Pet Healthcare, a dental-only veterinary startup, has raised £700,000 in funding led by Maven, with participation from Jenson Funding Partners and Angel Investors Bristol. Luna Pet Healthcare provides veterinary dental care for dogs and cats through dedicated clinics and preventative dental health products. The investment will enable Luna Pet Healthcare to meet growing customer demand, open additional sites across the South West, and support the development and marketing of new products and services.
Founded in 2024 by Dr Joe Inglis and Louise Cooke, Luna Pet Healthcare was created to address a structural gap in the UK veterinary market and make dental care more affordable and accessible. Dental disease can be difficult for pet owners to manage due to limited access to high quality and affordable care. Through expert-led clinics and ongoing support, Luna Pet Healthcare provides preventative and restorative dental care alongside products designed to help pet owners manage oral health at home.
Operating sites in Bristol and Reading, Luna Pet Healthcare combines in-clinic treatment with a range of dental health products for at-home use. Expansion plans focus on opening additional clinics across the South West while extending the range of services and products available to customers.
As a vet and pet owner I know first-hand how devastating dental disease can be for our pets and also how difficult it can be for pet owners to access high quality dental care for their pets at affordable prices.
