LUX has secured its first institutional investment from SFC Capital, one of the UK’s most active early-stage investors, as part of a £277.5k pre-seed raise.
The investment builds on more than £1.1m in non-dilutive grant funding secured to date and will support LUX’s mission to unlock on-site, on-demand hydrogen production, storage, and dispensing, enabling reliable and scalable access to clean hydrogen across the transportation, manufacturing, and energy sectors.
LUX develops fully integrated hydrogen supply solutions using proprietary technology designed for efficiency, reliability, and real-world deployment. By removing complex hydrogen logistics, the company aims to simplify the transition to renewable energy and accelerate decarbonisation across industrial applications.
The investment will be used to advance LUX’s proprietary hydrogen technology, support early deployments, and strengthen the company’s technical and operational capabilities.
