Marloo raises a £7.5m seed round led by Blackbird Ventures to handle admin and compliance for financial advisers

Marloo builds software that manages administrative and compliance tasks for financial advisers. It processes notes, documents and regulatory requirements so advisers can focus on client work and identify opportunities.

Marloo, an AI partner for financial advisers, has raised £7.5 million in a seed round led by Blackbird Ventures, with participation from Icehouse Ventures. The round brings total funding to £9.4m in twelve months, following Blackbird Ventures’ pre-seed investment six months earlier.

It handles administrative and compliance-related work for financial advisers, including notes, documents and regulatory requirements, enabling advisers to focus on client-facing activity. Its system also captures client context across interactions and surfaces opportunities that would otherwise go unnoticed.

More than 650 firms across six countries are paying customers, with revenue growing more than 40% month on month and customer churn close to zero.

The funding will be used to deepen partnerships with existing users, expand reach to new advisory firms, and complete a product suite designed to define an AI partner for the profession.
