Meaningful Planet, a business mobile connectivity startup, has raised a seed funding round led by SFC Capital. It provides mobile connectivity and an integrated management platform designed to reduce inefficiency and cost across business SIM estates.
The business addresses inefficiencies in the business mobile market caused by opaque pricing, overage charges, and limited visibility. Meaningful Planet offers mobile connectivity through its own network alongside MILO, its integrated management platform, which monitors usage across entire SIM estates, detects inefficiencies, and automatically optimises plans. Early customers have achieved cost reductions of up to 28% in the first year without increasing administrative workload.
Its connectivity offering includes eSIM, IoT, and multi-network services across the UK and internationally, with the management platform included as standard. The model also incorporates carbon-neutral connectivity through verified UK offset projects, with a portion of profits funding habitat restoration delivered by regional Wildlife Trusts.
Headquartered on the Isle of Wight, Meaningful Planet works with organisations across the UK and is rated a Best Buy Network by Ethical Consumer Magazine. It has presented as part of The Economist's sustainability programmes, Connected Britain, and Web Summit, and is a pending B Corporation.
