Northcote Equity closes Northcote Fund II at £250m to back founder-led technology businesses in the UK and Ireland

Northcote Fund II invests in founder-led technology and services businesses across the UK and Ireland. The fund provides equity investments in both minority and majority positions to support growth while preserving founder-led culture.

Northcote Equity has closed Northcote Fund II at £250 million, reaching a first and final close ten weeks after launching the fundraise. Fund II continues to back founder-led technology and services businesses across the UK and Ireland with £10 million to £40 million equity investments.

The strategy focuses on providing flexible capital to founder-led businesses, investing in both minority and majority positions. Capital is used to partner with founders and management teams to support growth while preserving the culture and entrepreneurial energy that have driven their success.

Fund II follows Northcote Equity's debut £160 million vehicle, which closed in January 2025. Existing investors collectively re-committed more than 100% of their Fund I capital into Fund II, alongside several new limited partners across Europe and North America.

Since launch, Northcote Equity has completed five platform investments: RDC Aviation, Nuvo Accountancy, AmplifyME, Lockhart Capital Management and Aquila Learning. The firm was launched in October 2024 by co-founders Charles Dale, Matt Charman and Scott Fairlie.

We're extremely grateful for the trust our investors continue to place in us, and we're delighted to welcome a select group of new partners for the next chapter. Fund II gives us the capacity to do more of what we set out to do from day one: back outstanding founders, build enduring relationships and support ambitious businesses as they grow.

Charles Dale, Co-Founder of Northcote Equity

Our vision from the outset has been to seek out and support the very best founder-owned businesses across the UK and Ireland. That focus remains unchanged and has resonated strongly with our investors. We've had an exciting first two years, with Fund II, we're looking forward to building on that momentum and partnering with more exceptional founders and businesses.
