PES Technologies has closed a ยฃ1.3m pre-Series A funding round led by TSP Ventures, with participation from Green Angel Ventures, Kero Development Partners, and Moorhampton Investments Limited.

PES Technologies has developed a cutting-edge soil testing solution that provides cost-effective and comprehensive insights into soil biology in 5 minutes. Despite increasing recognition of the need for regenerative and sustainable farming, the lack of reliable, affordable soil biology testing has been a major barrier to change. PESโ€™ unique technology bridges this gap, equipping farmers, agronomists, and land managers with actionable data to improve soil health and drive long-term sustainability.

Last year, it won two prestigious industry awards โ€“ Agri-tech Innovator of the Year from the British Farming Awards and the Innovation Excellence Award from the Fresh Produce Consortium, as well as being featured in the FoodTech500 for the third year running.

The companyโ€™s latest funding round will accelerate its growth as it moves toward a Series A raise. This new injection of capital will enable PES to expand its customer base, drive repeat sales, and explore new applications in adjacent markets such as soil carbon sequestration.

This funding round is a big show of confidence from our shareholders in both the product and the team. As we move toward our next stage of growth, this investment puts us in a good position to demonstrate the full potential of our soil health insights and drive meaningful change in sustainable agriculture.
