Rem3dy Health, the Birmingham-based healthtech behind 3D-printed personalised nutrition brand Nourished, has secured £1.4m in new investment led by Borski Fund and Future Planet Capital Regional.
Announced during Birmingham Tech Week’s Scale-Up Summit, the deal highlighted the Midlands’ ability to attract international venture investment. The event, hosted by The Lifted Project, a Rose Review and Treasury-backed initiative, aimed to boost funding for high-growth, women-led businesses. Founder and CEO Melissa Snover confirmed that Borski Fund invested £900,000, while Future Planet Capital Regional contributed £500,000.
The new funding will power Rem3dy Health’s international expansion and further research and development for its flagship brand, Nourished. Using patented 3D printing technology, Nourished delivers personalised, stackable nutrition gummies tailored to individual health needs, offering an innovative approach to preventative healthcare.
The Midlands has recently seen a surge in activity, with initiatives such as the Inclusive Innovation Catalyst, a £30 million venture studio, and the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund working to bridge the region’s funding gap. The dual investment in Rem3dy Health demonstrates how regional scale-ups can attract global attention when supported by strong ecosystems and collaborative networks.
