Shop Circle has extended its Series B round to £75m, combining £45m in equity with strategic financing. Nextalia Ventures led the raise, joined by Primo Capital, CDP Venture Capital through its Digital Transition Fund, 645 Select Fund, FNDX, FG2 Capital, and several entrepreneurial family offices with industrial and technology backing.

The company operates as an acquirer and developer of enterprise SaaS products, focusing on tools that drive customer engagement and ecommerce performance as well as systems that improve internal enterprise operations. Its model combines buying mission-critical software businesses with embedding AI capabilities to scale and optimise them.

The new capital will support an active M&A roadmap and accelerate AI product development across its portfolio. Recent activity includes the acquisition of KrakenD, an API gateway used in commerce, fintech, and enterprise environments to simplify and speed up data delivery.

Shop Circle has scaled its go-to-market operations following a run of acquisitions and is pushing deeper into enterprise software. Its disciplined approach extends to both hiring and deal-making, reviewing tens of thousands of applications each year to secure top technical talent, and screening more than 1,000 acquisition opportunities annually to select only the most critical software businesses.

The business positions itself as an AI-first acquirer, integrating acquired products, centralising operations, and embedding automation to improve margins and scale. Recognised as part of the Future Fifty programme, Shop Circle now attracts over 1,000 applicants for each role and has strengthened its teams across multiple international hubs.

This fourth round in four years, each at a higher valuation, gives us the firepower to double down on what we do best: acquiring exceptional software products and making them smarter, faster, and more connected through AI. We’re building the leading AI-native software platform, with a portfolio of high-impact products powering the digital infrastructure of today’s enterprise. With several acquisitions in the pipeline and a strong cash position, we’re well positioned to expand our product suite, scale our enterprise offering, and shape how modern businesses operate.
Luca Cartechini, Co-founder & CEO
What we’re building is not just a portfolio, but an operating system for modern enterprises. This round gives us the fuel to move faster, both in product innovation and strategic growth. We’ve consistently integrated technical teams and supercharged their go-to-market execution. Now, we’re embedding AI across every layer of our products, not as a feature, but as an architectural foundation to drive automation, intelligence, and scale. We are implementing AI across everything we do.
Gian Maria Gramondi, Co-founder & COO
We’re executing an AI-enabled acquisition strategy: we acquire great software businesses, centralise operations, and then drive scale through automation. This approach has already delivered margin expansion from cost savings alone, a game-changer in a sector where many operate at breakeven.
Robin Hardt, CFO
We doubled down on Shop Circle because we believe it can become one of the next leading European technology companies powering the infrastructure of modern enterprises. Thanks to its model combining organic growth and acquisitions, which they’ve consistently executed over the past four years, the opportunity ahead is enormous. We’ve seen this model work at scale in some of the most successful tech outcomes in Europe. The region is home to a thriving ecosystem of thousands of founder-led software companies that have scaled sustainably outside the traditional Silicon Valley fundraising model. Many are profitable and independent, and would greatly benefit from joining a larger group able to streamline operations and accelerate growth.
