Supa raises a £21m seed round led by 2150 and OpenOcean to acquire and modernise local property managers

Supa is a block management company that acquires established local managing agents and keeps their names and teams. It gives them its own AI software for repair scheduling, service charge reconciliation, safety checks and contractor chasing, so residents of managed flats get faster answers and clearer service charges.

Supa, a block property management company that buys local managing agents and runs them on its own AI software, has raised £21 million in seed funding. The round includes equity funding co-led by 2150 and OpenOcean, with KOMPAS VC, Actia Capital Partners and HEARTFELT, and a debt facility from a UK lender. The funding will go into Supa's technology and further acquisitions.

Supa acquires established local block management firms, keeps their names and teams, and rebuilds their operations on its own AI technology. The software takes on repair scheduling, service charge reconciliation, safety check upkeep and chasing contractors, and cuts the time property managers spend on admin by up to 90%. The average service charge in England and Wales reached £2,405 in 2025, passing £200 a month for the first time and up by a third in five years, yet most residents cannot say what their service charge pays for and many struggle to get a call answered. The UK property management sector is worth £37 billion, and software has been sold into it for years without taking hold. The small firms that manage flats often have fewer than ten staff, and property managers report record workload pressure.

In the 12 months since it started, Supa has acquired seven local managing agents and looks after around 20,000 homes. Its revenue has grown more than 700% since its first two acquisitions in late 2025. Recent additions include Hunters in Sussex, FW Block Management in Hertfordshire and Lamberts in London.

Supa was founded by Calum Brannan and Alexis Johnson, who previously built the digital property manager Howsy and sold it to Dexters in 2022. Founding engineer Gaspard Perrot, formerly of Signal AI, and chairman Mark Opzoomer, whose past roles include Yahoo, Trint and Somo, have also joined. The funding will go into Supa's technology and further acquisitions, so that residents get answers the same day rather than weeks later. Each acquisition also improves Supa's AI operating system for the residents of firms it already manages.

Residents are paying more every year and too often getting less. Bloated portfolios and ageing systems leave residents with their calls going to voicemail. We're doing the opposite. We keep the local firms, take the admin off their desks, and put managers back inside buildings instead of behind a phone queue. Everyone should know what their service charge pays for, and get an answer when they call.

Calum Brannan, Co-founder & CEO

It was very important to me to preserve the legacy of our company. Supa understood that. They weren't looking to rebrand us, they wanted to keep our identity, which is why I'd recommend them to any managing agent looking to sell.

Finella Taylor, CEO of FW Block Management

Property management operates with tools that feel decades overdue, and Calum and Alexis saw the opportunity to change that completely. Their vision for Supa is to become the intelligence layer for how buildings are run, starting with scaling their block management platform. We believe Supa can redefine what great property management looks like, and we’re excited to back them on that journey.

Rahul Parekh, Partner at 2150

Supa is one of the clearest examples of AI improving a real-world service at scale. Calum and Alexis are bringing together the technology, the data and the businesses needed to make it work, and we're delighted to back them.

Sam Hields, Partner at OpenOcean

When a block is well-managed, it operates quietly in the background; when it’s poorly managed, it can negatively impact residents' finances, safety, and daily quality of life. Supa is harnessing the power of agentic AI and economies of scale to lift industry standards, improving communication, responsiveness, and quality of service delivery. We are very proud to back the founders and their extraordinary team as they build a category-leading property management business with global ambitions.
