Traknova, a fleet intelligence platform for SME operators, has raised £250,000 in a pre-seed round led by SFC Capital. The investment will accelerate product development and commercial growth as Traknova targets the SME fleet market in the United Kingdom.
Fleet operators across the United Kingdom have long been forced to stitch together separate tools for tracking, cameras, immobilisation and vehicle access. The result is fragmented data, operational blind spots and systems that were never built with smaller operators in mind. Traknova's platform brings hardware telematics, videomatics and digital tracking together in one unified dashboard, giving fleet operators complete visibility and control over every vehicle from one place.
The dominant players in fleet management - Samsara, Verizon Connect and Geotab - were built for large enterprise. They are expensive, complex and slow to implement. The SME fleet market, which represents the majority of operators across taxi, private hire, car rental, dealerships and logistics, has been left without a modern, accessible solution. The UK fleet management market is projected to reach £4.65 billion by 2031, driven by increasing regulatory pressure around driver safety, insurance fraud and compliance. With approximately 5.8 million commercial vehicles on UK roads, Traknova estimates a total addressable market of £1.04 billion, a serviceable available market of £260 million and a realistically obtainable market of £26 million per annum at 10% penetration over five years.
Traknova offers two products on a single platform. The hardware product is already generating revenue with paying customers across car rental, taxi and private hire. Installed directly into vehicles, it combines a GPS tracker, 4G dash camera and remote immobiliser, giving operators the ability to monitor, manage and secure their fleet in real time. Alongside this, Traknova is preparing to launch a digital product that requires no hardware and no installation. Using proprietary digital tracking technology, it allows large fleets such as dealerships with hundreds of vehicles across multiple sites to be onboarded in minutes. An AI fleet management assistant is also being embedded directly into the platform, allowing operators to query live vehicle locations, driver speed histories and trip footage through natural language rather than manual dashboard navigation.
The founding team of Timi Adeyemo and Charles Alexis brings a combined almost 20 years of experience across the automotive and technology sectors. Named Fleet Management Company of the Year 2025/26 and finalists for Tech Startup of the Year at the Black Tech Achievement Awards, Traknova has tracked more than 2 million miles and facilitated over 4,000 trips on its platform. A qualified pipeline of more than 1,000 vehicles is in place, with the digital product currently in product-market fit testing with major fleet operators across the dealership sector. Traknova is a Barclays Eagle Labs alumnus and has two strategic hires in place to support its next phase of growth.
We're glad to back Timi and Charles. Between them they bring nearly two decades across automotive and technology. They are building something that has been missing in the UK fleet market, and we're looking forward to the journey.
