Waken Mouthcare, a London-based oral care brand, raised £950k through crowdfunding on Republic Europe (formerly Seedrs), with participation from 215 investors. Co-founded by Simon Duffy and Rhodri Ferrier, the company produces eco-friendly oral care products using recycled plastics and FSC-certified cardboard.
Waken's product range includes whitening toothpaste, 12-hour protective mouthwash, and 100% recycled dental floss. With net sales of £5.4m since 2019 and distribution across major UK retailers and international markets, the funds will support further operational expansion and product development.
