Xentra lands £2.7m in funding from Maven to provide subscription-based cyber security, safeguarding and compliance to SMEs

Xentra provides managed cyber security, safeguarding and compliance services to small and medium-sized enterprises through a subscription-based model. Its STAX bundles and customer portal combine technology, managed services and specialist expertise to help organisations assess, implement and manage their security infrastructure.

Xentra, a digital security startup, has raised £2.7 million in funding from Maven Capital Partners. Based in Leeds, Xentra provides cyber security, safeguarding and compliance solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises through a subscription-based model.

Managed cyber security and digital protection services help organisations assess, implement and manage their security infrastructure. Xentra's core offering combines technology, managed services and specialist expertise through its STAX bundles and customer portal. These integrated packages simplify the procurement and management of cyber security, compliance and safeguarding tools, enabling organisations to strengthen their digital resilience, reduce complexity and maintain around-the-clock protection against evolving threats.

Over 90 customers currently rely on Xentra, including Leeds United Football Club, Leeds Bradford Airport, Vista Technology Support, JT Atkinson and education providers such as Shaw Education Trust. Across that customer base, the business has quadrupled its annual recurring revenue over the past two years.

The investment will support Xentra's next phase of growth, enabling the business to strengthen its senior leadership team, accelerate customer acquisition and increase revenue from its existing customer base. Maven's funding will also support continued investment in sales and marketing, alongside further development of Xentra's proprietary customer portal and the expansion of its STAX product suite. Together, these initiatives will strengthen the modular, subscription-based offering, creating additional opportunities to attract new customers, increase customer retention and drive recurring revenue growth.

This investment gives us the resources to accelerate our growth plans and strengthen every part of the business. We have built Xentra by focusing on what matters most; expert advice, responsive support and solutions that genuinely help our customers manage increasingly complex cyber security, compliance and safeguarding requirements. The funding will allow us to invest in our people, our technology and our customer experience, ensuring we continue to deliver the high levels of service now expected as we scale. We are pleased to be partnering with Maven and NPIF II at this stage of our journey and look forward to building on what has already been a very strong few years.

Henry Doyle, CEO

Xentra operates in an attractive and growing market with demand for outsourced, subscription-based cyber security driven by increasing cyber risk, regulatory standards and insurance requirements. Henry and the senior team have decades of experience in dealing with cyber vendors to allow them to find the right solutions for customers. The business has quadrupled ARR in the last two years alone across a customer database of over 90 and we are delighted to invest at this time as the business continues to scale.
