SCI Semiconductor raises £5m in funding led by PXN Ventures and Mercia Ventures for memory-safe computer chips

SCI Semiconductor designs computer chips that build memory safety into the hardware itself, dividing memory into trusted compartments and tightly controlling how each one is accessed. Its ICENI range is aimed at critical infrastructure, defence and medical systems, where memory safety is the key factor in around 70% of cyber attacks.
