Houdini Bio launches with a £1.5m pre-seed led by SCVC to tackle gene silencing with machine learning DNA design platform

Houdini Bio has built a machine learning-guided DNA sequence design platform that re-engineers therapeutic DNA to evade the Human Silencing Hub (HUSH) complex, a cellular defence mechanism that mistakes gene therapies for viral invaders and shuts them down.
