Superlight secures £16m Series A led by Engine Ventures and 2150 to manufacture electric commercial vehicles for middle mile logistics

Superlight manufactures electric commercial vehicles designed specifically for middle mile logistics, the stage of freight movement between regional distribution centres and local sorting facilities. Its OV-1 box truck uses aerospace design principles and an all-digital powertrain to deliver greater cargo volume and lower energy costs than conventional 7.5-tonne diesel-derived competitors.
