Nuclear Turbines

Nuclear Turbines is a UK-based advanced energy company developing compact nuclear systems designed to integrate with gas turbine technology. Spun out by BAE Systems' Launchpad initiative and founded by a former company engineer, Dr Jeremy Owston, as well as University of Manchester Professor, Tim Abram, the company is pioneering a modular reactor architecture that eliminates traditional steam infrastructure to deliver scalable, cost-effective clean power. By combining proven turbine technology with novel reactor materials, Nuclear Turbines aims to make nuclear energy affordable for industrial sites and grid applications.
