Arrakis, an AI deployment company helping industrial companies install AI agents for mission-critical operations, has raised a £22 million Series A led by Blossom Capital, with participation from existing investor Accel, GFC, MainObject and Rerail. Backing also came from technology leaders including Datadog founder Olivier Pomel, OpenAI's Head of business products Olivier Godement and Cambridge Aerospace founder Junaid Hussein, bringing total funding to around £28 million within six months of the company's founding.
Many industrial organisations still rely on decades-old software, fragmented systems and manual workflows even as governments and businesses across the US and Europe invest heavily in domestic industrial capacity and supply chain resilience. Arrakis pairs forward-deployed AI engineers with a model-agnostic enterprise platform and applied AI research tuned to industrial operations, letting companies use their own data to train, deploy and scale custom AI agents in weeks rather than quarters. Rather than replacing existing technology stacks, the platform deploys agents into existing systems, and customer data and intellectual property are never used for third-party model training. Arrakis ties a significant proportion of its fees directly to customer outcomes.
Within six months of launch, Arrakis has secured enterprise customers including NYSE-listed companies across the energy, logistics and industrial sectors. Customers are seeing measurable returns within weeks, including reducing procurement cycle times by 90% and gaining real-time visibility into previously manual operational and financial processes.
Arrakis was founded in January 2026 by former Accel investor Rafael Quintanilla alongside co-founders Haroun Beltaifa, Romain Fouilland and Mikhail Galkov, who are alumni of Palantir, Delivery Hero, Revolut, Datadog and ASML. Accel led the company's earlier $7.5 million seed round.
Arrakis will use the funding to triple headcount, strengthen its platform and security capabilities, and accelerate expansion across Europe, the United States and the Middle East, including new office openings in New York and the Middle East. The company currently operates from London and Paris and has already signed its first US customer.
