Beams raises £7m Series A led by ETF Partners to streamline home renovations with proprietary pricing software

Beams uses proprietary pricing software and 3D modelling to simplify home renovations, helping homeowners understand costs, timelines and energy improvements while connecting them with vetted builders through a managed marketplace.

Beams, a London-based startup, has raised £7m in a Series A round led by ETF Partners with participation from Giant Ventures, firstminute capital, and Borusan Ventures. Founded by Hayden Wood, the company focuses on simplifying and modernizing the home renovation process. Its proprietary platform uses a pricing engine to predict costs and timelines, leveraging over 6,000 historical projects and 3D scanning technology to create precise renovation models.

The company's solutions aim to reduce friction in making homes more energy-efficient and foster connections between customers and vetted builders through a managed marketplace. With £4m in projects sold and 25 renovations completed since its September 2023 launch, Beams plans to accelerate product development and expand across the U.K. and Europe.

Lucy Rands of ETF Partners praised the startup's approach, stating: "Their solutions seamlessly integrate sustainability and practical home improvements to help modernize the UK and Europe's aging housing stock."
