i6 Group, the UK-founded provider of digital fuel management software for aviation, announced it has raised Β£15 million in a Series B round led by growth investor Yttrium, with follow-on participation from International Airlines Group (IAG), World Kinect and Shell Ventures.
The funding will support international expansion, further investment in technology and data infrastructure, and team growth as the company scales its cloud-based fuelling platform globally.
Fuel remains one of the largest operating costs for airlines and a major source of aviation emissions. i6βs technology digitises processes that have long been manual and paper-based, connecting airlines, airports, fuel service providers and suppliers in a single system. The platform enables greater efficiency, safety and real-time visibility across the fuelling chain.
Founded in 2013, i6 provides a digital layer for the entire fuel operations lifecycle, from refinery logistics through to wingtip delivery. Its software is now deployed at more than 200 airports worldwide and is used by leading airlines and fuel handlers.
