Konsileo raises £8m to expand UK operations with tech-driven commercial broking model

Konsileo operates a technology-enabled commercial insurance brokerage, providing mid-market brokers with tools for collaboration, compliance and market access while allowing them to manage clients independently.

Konsileo, a London-based insurtech company, has raised £8m in a growth round led by Committed Capital and ACF Investors Growth Lending. Founded by John Warburton, Konsileo specialises in mid-market commercial insurance broking, serving industries such as construction, logistics, agriculture, and recycling.

The company has grown by two-thirds in the past year, achieving a £12m brokerage with over £60m GWP on a run-rate basis. Its proprietary platform supports self-managed brokers, enabling collaboration, compliance, and access to the full insurance market without management-imposed restrictions.

The funding will drive further recruitment of broking professionals and continued development of its tech platform, which streamlines client data capture and market searches. Investors praised Konsileo's scalable, capital-efficient model and its innovative approach to transforming the commercial broking market.

John Warburton highlighted the company's focus on empowering brokers to deliver better client outcomes, while investor comments emphasised Konsileo's strong growth trajectory and differentiated market proposition.
