Resolutiion, a startup building AI infrastructure for commercial risk and dispute resolution, has raised more than £8 million in funding from LocalGlobe, Cherry Ventures, Octopus Ventures, Chevron Technology Ventures and the European Union.
Continuously monitoring hundreds of data points across commercial relationships and mission-critical delivery, the platform identifies when something is going wrong, why, and what should happen next. Emerging supplier failures, programme delays, cost exposure, performance issues and commercial conflict are detected across fragmented business data, from technical documents and communications through to operational data, financials and enterprise systems. Resolutiion then coordinates the actions needed to protect delivery, recover value and reach resolution, creating a multi-party environment that connects companies, functions, humans, AI agents, evidence and decisions, and governs what each party can see and do. Powered by Octavia and proprietary OctaviaCore infrastructure, it defines a category Jack calls Risk-to-Resolution.
One in five contracts hits a dispute during delivery, and enterprises lose an estimated £50-90 million for every £1 billion of contracted revenue, according to Beyond the Contract, a global study of more than 350 organisations co-authored with World Commerce & Contracting. Enterprises have digitised customers, resources, contracts and projects, but the territory between those systems, where delivery fails, remains largely human. Operations sees the risk, programme teams see the delay, procurement sees supplier underperformance, finance sees the loss, and legal may see the dispute only once value has leaked and evidence has fragmented.
Founder Fayola-Maria Jack led the commercial transformation of the Royal Air Force across a £6 billion operating environment, established the UK Government's first Commercial Dispute Resolution Practice, co-authored the Government Outsourcing Playbook and sits on the World Commerce & Contracting board. At the Cabinet Office she led the Complex Transactions Team, supporting BEIS and DEFRA through EU Exit. Building the business as a solo founder, she has assembled a team drawn from Darktrace, Klarna, Everlaw, Luminance, Uber, Accenture and KPMG.
Selling into energy, construction, infrastructure, defence and government, Resolutiion reports a 10/10 customer NPS and a pipeline of hundreds of millions of dollars spanning five continents. The platform is now live in the Microsoft Marketplace and was recently selected for Microsoft's Pegasus programme, a small and highly selective cohort of global startups.
I’m focused on building a generational company. I absolutely believe the next trillion-dollar technology company will come out of Europe. We know this domain deeply, we went global and cross-industry from day one, and we’re building with enormous ambition. We’re super early, but in the process of onboarding hundreds of companies onto our platform, we have some of the world’s leading and most exciting companies in our pipeline, an exceptional team drawn from some of the best technology businesses, and a roadmap that goes far beyond the product you see today. AI has fundamentally expanded what is possible, and we intend to build one of the defining AI infrastructure companies of this generation.”
