Rightbrain secures £3m in funding led by PXN Ventures to help services businesses deploy AI agents

Rightbrain is a platform that helps services businesses build, deploy and monitor AI agents inside the software tools they already use. The platform is designed for businesses such as marketing agencies, recruitment firms and professional services firms that want to adopt AI without rebuilding existing systems or hiring specialist

Rightbrain, an AI deployment platform startup, has raised £3m in funding led by PXN Ventures, with participation from existing investors Salica and NYDIG, alongside four new angel investors. The platform helps B2B services businesses, including marketing agencies, recruitment firms and professional services firms, build and deploy AI agents without requiring full-scale digital transformation.

Acting as a software bridge, Rightbrain enables organisations to access AI models from providers including OpenAI, Anthropic and Google through existing tools such as CRMs and Google Workspace. Teams can use AI inside current workflows, while repetitive tasks including lead research, onboarding processing, customer feedback analysis and compliance reviews are automated more consistently and efficiently.

Many organisations using tools such as Claude and ChatGPT face challenges around compliance, data security and integration with legacy systems. Rightbrain’s platform is designed to provide a compliant and secure route for deploying AI without investing in bespoke infrastructure or lengthy proof-of-concept projects. Specialists work directly with customers to develop and improve AI agents through an ‘agents-as-a-service’ model.

The business is also expanding a partner network that allows technology consultancies and digital agencies to use the platform as white-label AI infrastructure, reducing the time needed for partners to bring AI products to market by six to nine months. Funding will support strategic hires, expansion of the partner programme in the United Kingdom and internationally, and deployment of Rightbrain’s own internal tool for identifying and converting customers.

Rightbrain was founded in 2023 by Peter Cheyne and Matt Wells. Peter previously co-founded Partnerize and Bottlepay, while Matt worked on large-scale infrastructure and enterprise AI deployment, including GitHub Copilot following Microsoft’s acquisition of GitHub.

Businesses are under pressure to adopt AI, but many are finding that the real challenge isn’t accessing the technology but actually deploying it safely and effectively. We’re helping traditional B2B services evolve into AI-native businesses by embedding agents into their core workflows. This removes friction, giving teams a single platform to build, deploy and govern intelligent tools without needing to rebuild their infrastructure or hire specialist developers. We’ve built a foundation for this platform to succeed, working with companies to pilot the tool, and now it’s time to launch it in earnest. This investment from PXN Ventures and our existing backers will allow us to take our platform to more businesses and help them realise the value of AI without the costly transformation.

Pete and Matt have a strong track record of building technology businesses in complex, regulated environments, which is exactly where Rightbrain sits. As companies deploy AI at scale and the AI ecosystem matures, the need to balance robust infrastructure with governance, compliance and operational rigour becomes increasingly more important. We’re excited to back Rightbrain as it helps businesses across the UK and beyond unlock the potential of AI, and we look forward to supporting the team through this next phase of growth.
