Riplo, an operating system for consulting workflows startup, has raised £2.3 million in a pre-seed round led by Cherry Ventures, with participation from Blue Lion Capital. It builds an interface where humans and agents can co-create work, addressing the gap between human thought and machine execution in consulting.
Consulting tools are designed for manual, human-only workflows, including slide decks and models that require step-by-step construction. These environments are slow for users and difficult for AI agents to operate within. Riplo provides a unified interface where agents can draft, structure, and stress-test workstreams directly alongside consultants, enabling collaboration within a shared environment.
The funding will be used to deepen work with design partners, expand the engineering team, and continue building its operating system for consulting so that humans and agents can work together natively.
Riplo was founded by Tobias Haefele, Oliver Scott, and Zack Zornitta. Tobias and Oliver met at QuantumBlack, where they worked on AI-native products, and later reconnected at Hg Capital while advising on AI diligence and value creation. Zack joined as an engineering lead with experience building and scaling AI-native software.
The $1trillion consulting industry is currently running on the digital equivalent of a typewriter. You cannot achieve agentic speed inside a slide deck designed in the 90s. We aren’t building another chatbot; we are building the interface where the next generation of strategic analyses actually happens.
Professional services is one of the largest and least disrupted markets in the world, and AI is finally changing that. Riplo is building a deep, vertical-specific platform for the world's most elite firms, and Tobias, Oliver, and Zack are exactly the team to do it. Cherry is proud to back them.
