Shoutt.ai, an AI-powered gig-hunting platform, has secured Β£525,000 in funding through SFC Capital and angel investors. The platform supports gig workers and freelancers to passively discover personalised work opportunities across the web. The funding will allow Shoutt.ai to continue supporting existing customers while enhancing the platform and scaling its reach across the freelance market.
The platform is powered by an always-on AI agent that operates 24/7 and is trained by human experts to identify and deliver highly relevant gigs to freelancers. By alerting users quickly to new opportunities, Shoutt.ai aims to give freelancers a first-mover advantage in competitive marketplaces.
Freelancers currently spend significant time searching across job boards, marketplaces, and social media, with the average freelancer wasting at least six hours per week. This fragmented process can result in losses of up to Β£10,000 per year, while platform fees can be prohibitive, particularly for smaller gigs. Shoutt.ai is designed to reduce this time and cost burden by aggregating opportunities into a single, personalised feed.
Launched by Saleem Yaqub and Jonathan Eadie, Shoutt.ai operates a freemium model with a clear and affordable pricing structure and no hidden fees. Free accounts surface all potential matches, with freelancers only upgrading when they choose to pitch for specific opportunities. The investment will enable the company to deepen its service and scale to serve more participants in the growing global freelance marketplace.
