Spotless Water, a pure water refill station network, has raised £6.4 million in funding led by YFM Equity Partners. The investment will be used to accelerate the rollout of new pure water stations across the UK over the next 12 months and expand 24/7 access for professional cleaning and detailing businesses.
Cleaning and maintenance professionals rely on pure water, which contains zero Total Dissolved Solids, to achieve spot-free finishes without chemical detergents. Producing this water in-house requires expensive equipment, time-consuming maintenance and generates high levels of waste. Spotless Water's stations use its patent-pending Spotless Ecoflow® and advanced EDI technology to dispense up to 120 litres of pure water per minute, minimising water waste and eliminating the disposable resins used in traditional purification systems. Each installation operates as a hands off, fully managed concession, equipped with over 45 sensors and control systems that enable real-time monitoring of water quality, pressure and flow.
The rollout will accelerate existing concession partnership deals signed in the last six months with Morrisons, Park Garage Group and Motor Fuel Group, enabling customers to refill at convenient locations that offer other services in addition to pure water. The funding will also be used for additional customer-focused improvements, including station upgrades, and will allow for the continued trialling of integrating Spotless Water into Park Garage Group's jet wash bays, described as an industry-first move.
With the UK window cleaning sector forecast to exceed £530m by 2030 and vehicle detailing demand growing steadily, Spotless Water is well positioned to benefit from long-term demand for efficient, lower-waste pure water solutions. Since launching in 2016, Spotless Water has dispensed over 600 million litres and now supports more than 22,000 weekly refills across 160 UK stations, with ambitions to reach 1,200 stations by 2029. The new funding brings Spotless Water's total investment to circa £18m, which has been deployed over the years to develop its patent-pending technology, infrastructure and support services to become the UK's leading pure water provider.

This funding will allow us to deepen our national partnerships which include Morrisons, MFG and Park Garage Group, and provide our customers with access to stations at more great locations where they can shop, refuel or charge their vehicles while refilling their pure water. It also allows us to grow our market presence and deploy the patent-pending technology we're so proud of. It has disrupted the industry and brings a new level of service and access to pure water for cleaning professionals, with environmental responsibility built in.
