Applied Computing secures £15m in funding led by KBR to build foundation AI models for energy operations

Applied Computing builds foundation AI for energy operators through Orbital, a platform that integrates physics-grounded intelligence with chemical engineering, time-series forecasting and language models. Orbital draws on all available data from downstream energy facilities to help operators improve efficiency, reduce emissions, strengthen reliability and make better decisions across complex industrial systems.
