London-based Requesty has raised Β£2m in a seed round led by 20VC, with participation from Tapestry VC, Insiders Ventures and Tiny Supercomputer. The funding will support the expansion of its engineering and growth teams, growing headcount from 5 to around 20 over the next year.
Requesty provides a secure gateway for enterprises to connect with multiple AI providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic and Grok. Its platform gives companies centralised control over usage, allowing them to manage access, enforce spending limits and reduce the risks of exposing sensitive data.
The system also helps teams optimise between providers by rerouting requests when one is unavailable, while lowering costs through prompt caching, which stores and reuses common prompts.
Originally launched as a data analytics startup, Requesty pivoted this year to focus on AI infrastructure. The platform is now used by more than 25,000 developers, including Mozart AI and Blue Morpho, and has already surpassed Β£1.3m in annual recurring revenue.
Requesty is aiming to play the same role for AI infrastructure that Cloudflare has played for internet security and performance.
