RoboK secures £1m from UKRI to advance AI safety in UK ports and warehouses

RoboK builds computer vision software that turns industrial CCTV into proactive safety and efficiency tools, detecting hazards and operational risks in ports, warehouses and logistics environments.

RoboK, a Cambridge-based AI startup, has raised £1m in funding from UKRI to develop its PALLETS platform, an AI-driven safety and efficiency solution for UK ports and warehouses. Founded by Hao Zheng, RoboK leverages computer vision to transform industrial CCTV systems into proactive tools for hazard detection and operational improvements.

The PALLETS project, in collaboration with key partners such as the Port of Dover, Freeport East, and the University of Essex, aims to accelerate the adoption of trustworthy AI in logistics. The funding will support development through March 2025, positioning RoboK to set new benchmarks in safety and operational efficiency across the UK logistics sector.
