Voxelo has closed its oversubscribed £650,000 pre-seed round as it brings a faster, more accessible 3D and AI product content studio to market. The round - which opened with a £300,000 first close announced in January 2026 - has now been completed, backed by a group of strategic investors and advisors – including ex-eBay, Andy Gray. Voxelo enables retailers and brands to generate high-quality 3D, AR, product imagery and lifestyle content from a single uploaded video.
Andy Gray joins founders Vladimir Mulhem (CEO), Ben McKay (COO) and Roman Bromidge (CTO) to support the company through its next phase of growth as it progresses toward the final close of its pre-seed round.
At the heart of the platform is UG3DÆ (User Generated 3D), Voxelo's proprietary technology that turns a simple product video into a production-ready digital twin in approximately two hours. That digital twin can then be used to create interactive 3D, augmented reality place-in-space experiences, annotated 3D for product education, studio-quality product visuals and lifestyle imagery. Voxelo is designed as a single, low-cost platform for non-technical ecommerce teams to scale product content creation across multiple formats.
Since its first close in January 2026, Voxelo has onboarded enterprise customers including SportsShoes.com, which is using the platform to create production-quality 3D digital twins for its website and in-store point of sale. Additional early customers include Cosatto and agency partners. Voxelo has also received R&D support from Innovate UK, joined a trade mission to SXSW in Austin, and is part of the Growth Accelerator by Exchange. Andy Gray, former Director at eBay and co-founder of KnownOrigin, joined as an investor and advisor. Funding will used for continued platform development, customer delivery and go-to-market execution as Voxelo transitions from beta to commercial scale.
When we started this journey, we believed the market was ready for a simpler, faster way to create product content - and user generated 3D (UG3D®) was the way in. Now we're seeing that validated by some of the biggest names in UK retail and beyond.
Advanced 3D shouldn't feel intimidating. We've focused on making the experience simple, consistent and reliable, so teams can focus on merchandising and storytelling rather than production complexity.
Product experience in ecommerce is ripe for disruption. Consumers deserve more than a carousel of flat images. When I first interacted with Voxelo's user-generated 3D models, it was a lightbulb moment - and I think we're just at the beginning of what this technology can unlock.
