Zeroramp, a technology startup building privacy-first AI products for workplace teams, has raised £500,000 in a pre-seed round from angels. The funds will be used to continue developing Zeno, grow its customer base, and bring privacy-first AI tooling to more teams across Europe and beyond.
Zeno is a fixed-price AI assistant embedded inside Slack and Microsoft Teams, powered by self-hosted EU models. Designed to cut through the data silos that fragment company information, Zeno allows employees to ask questions about their company, products, customers, policies and processes. The assistant reads data from tools including Notion, SharePoint, Confluence and CRM systems, resolves conflicts between sources, and responds within seconds. Data remains within the customer's own environment at all times, with no information passed to third-party hyperscalers. Cascading access controls ensure users see only what they are permitted to see. Priced at a fixed €45 per user per month, Zeno avoids token-based pricing and unnecessary upsells, with the business focusing instead on engineering discipline and cost efficiency.
Zeroramp is fully remote and built by a team of tenured professionals with deeply technical backgrounds, which the founders say gives the business a competitive advantage in shipping products at otherwise unachievable price points.
